BEHIND THE CAMERA
Photography has been a part of my life ever since my dad bought me my first SLR back when I graduated 8th grade. It was the Pentax LX, which I still own today. He knew I loved taking pictures before then. So, I was both deeply excited and appreciative that he bought it for me. I carried that passion for photography ever since.
Fast forward to September 2011... I lost my job and was unemployed for about a year. I used this time as an opportunity to get back into photography full-time. I had bought a Nikon D60 in 2008, and in a couple of years, decided to upgrade to a D90. Now, I currently shoot with a full-frame D610. I'm always constantly striving to become better by taking classes at The Photo Classroom.
I love taking pictures of just about everything. To quote an article I read: "There are a lot of factors that go into taking a great picture. You need a good subject, background, lighting, equipment, and the right angle. Of course, probably the most important thing to have is a good eye for photography." I hope you like what I see from behind my camera.
